Owen Sound - January 5, 2010 - SailorJones Media is pleased to announce federal development support for the reGB.tv / reHP.tv local broadband content initiative.
reGB.tv & reHP.tv (regarding Grey/Bruce and regarding Huron/Perth) are hyper-local broadband and social networking content initiatives by and for the residents of Grey, Bruce, Huron & Perth Counties.
The interactive project received funding through the Business Development program of the Community Futures Rural Development Fund (CFRDF) , managed regionally by the Bruce Community Futures Development Corporation.
The Bruce Community Futures Development Corporation supports projects which support the community economic development.
The CFRDF is a Government of Canada initiative that promotes rural socio-economic development in Southwest Ontario, leading to a more competitive and diversified regional economy, and contributing to the successful development of businesses, job opportunities and sustainable, self-reliant communities.
CFRDF funding is delivered by the Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs) in Southwest Ontario.
