Montreal - June 22, 2005 - Telefilm Canada is pleased to announce that it will support 34 cutting-edge projects for the Canada New Media Fund's Market Research and/or Prototyping phase, totaling $2.2 million, for 2005-2006.
SailorJones Media's Fundamental Freedoms Project, an interactive DVD-ROM and Web site about Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms, in 11 languages, is among the selected projects.

The projects accepted for Telefilm financing originate from all regions of the country and cover a wide range of both media and content, such as wireless products, interactive DVD-ROMs, convergent Web sites, console games, and CD-ROMs.
